Directions for Use:1kg Fruit Cake Mix,6 Eggs (medium),500ml Water,1kg Sultanas,30g Glycerine,120g Mixed peel,200g Glazed cherries
Preheat oven to 150°C,
Place Fruit cake mix, eggs and water into a bowl and mix on low for 1 minute. Scrape down sides and continue mixing on speed 2 for 3 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and mix on low until fruit is evenly dispersed (approximately 2 minutes). Pour into lined baking tin.
Best results are obtained by washing and draining sultanas then blending with cherries and mixed peel, glycerine and rum paste. Place into a covered container and leave overnight.
Using a 10” round tin, bake at 150°C for approx. 120 minutes in the oven. For best results cover your tin with foil.
Note: Baking times may vary depending on your oven.
