Directions for Use
1kg Red velvet cake mix,200g Eggs (4 medium),265ml Water,140ml Vegetable oil
Preheat oven to 150°C
Mix In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, water. Mix on low for 1 minute until the ingredients start to combine. Scrape down sides and continue mixing on top speed for 2 minutes until smooth. Scrape down the sides again. Reduce speed to medium and gradually add the vegetable oil. Continue mixing for a total of 2 minutes (Do not overmix). Pour into lined baking tin.
Bake at 150°C
8x3” Round tin – bake for approx. 130 minutes (1kg mix)
10x3” Round tin – bake for approx. 150 minutes (2kg mix)
Note: When filling your cake tin, be sure to leave approx. 2-3cm of space from the top. This allows room for the cake to rise evenly. Baking times may vary depending on your oven. For best results cover your tin with foil before baking.
Storage conditions
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Keep away from direct sunlight.
