Directions for Use
1kg Chocolate Mud Cake Mix
175g Eggs (Approx. 4 small eggs)
140ml Vegetable oil
265ml Water
40g Chocolate paste (optional)
Preheat
Preheat oven to 150°C
Mix
In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, water and chocolate paste. Mix on low for 1 minute until the ingredients start to combine. Scrape down sides and continue mixing on top speed for 2 minutes. Scrape down the sides and continue mixing on medium speed and slowly add the vegetable oil. Mix for an additional 2 minutes (Do not overmix). Pour into lined baking tin.
Bake
Bake at 150°C
8x3” Round tin – bake for approx. 120 minutes (1kg mix)
10x3” Round tin – bake for approx. 190 minutes (2kg mix)
Note: When filling your cake tin, be sure to leave approx. 2-3cm of space from the top. This allows room for the cake to rise evenly. Baking times may vary depending on your oven. For best results cover your tin with foil before baking.
Storage conditions
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Keep away from direct sunlight.
